Dance Instructor Position Open

Where: Pinecrest Studio

When: Now accepting resumes (text only, no PDFs)

Title: Dance Instructor (Part Time)

Hours: Thursday and Friday 2-8PM, Saturday 9:30AM-4PM

Job Description: International Dance is seeking a dance instructor for various classes. A solid dance education is required. A resume with an emphasis on encouraging and inspiring performances is preferred. The instructor position involves teaching various levels of students including creative movement through advanced dancers. (ages 3 - 19). Experience in ballet is required. Knowledge of contemporary, tap, and jazz are also very valuable.

2018 OPEN HOUSE

Does your dancer dream?

We can't wait to see you at our open house! Come check us out and register for Fall classes before they fill up! Registration for the 2018-2019 begins August 10.

First 15 students to register will receive a FREE pair of ballet slippers!

2018 Recital

This year’s recital will be one (single) fantastic, all-inclusive, school-wide performance, full of awe and inspiration.

Where: Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center

Date/Time: June 2 at 2PM.

Reserved Tickets:
$20 per adult
$15 per child ages 3-12 ( 2 and under are free )
$25 per box seat ( limited availability )

Tickets at the door:
$25 per adult
$20 per child ages 3-12 ( 2 and under are free )

RESERVATIONS are made on a first come first serve basis. So, get your ticket reservations in as soon as possible. To reserve your ticket(s), bring the order form, a self-addressed envelope and check to the Pinecrest studio.

2017 Oktoberfest

First Day of Fall Classes

First day of the International Dance Fall classes start September 11! We are excited to begin our Fall class lineup that include beginning through advanced ballet, tap, jazz, and creative movement.

Remember to invite a friend! If they sign up for a year of classes before October 1, you will receive a $50 credit toward your tuition. Friend must be new to International Dance. Make sure they mention your name. Also, if you pay your tuition in full up front you will receive 10% off, which is equivalent to a month of free classes!

55th Anniversary Spring Recital

NEW ADULT TAP CLASSES!

Due to popular demand, two new classes will be offered for ages 18 and older starting the first week in March and last for eight weeks. All skill levels welcome! The two time slots are Monday evenings from 8pm - 9pm and Tuesday mornings from 10am - 11am.

Date/Time: Monday evenings from 8pm to 9pm and Tuesday mornings from 10am to 11am.

Drop in rate is $20 per class or a discounted eight week block is $150. Interest is booming so sign up fast!

Starting Sunday, February 12, International Dance, LLC. will be offering Yoga classes for ages 18 and above! The teacher is a mother of one of our students! Please welcome Kimberly Downey (kimberly.downey@gmail.com) as our new International Dance yoga instructor.

Drop in rate is $20 per class and the discounted block rate is $175 for 10 classes.

ACQUISITION ANNOUNCMENT

International Dance, LLC. is pleased to announce that as of August 10, 2016, International Dance, LLC. has acquired Balancé Ballet. The combined studio will go forward together under the name of International Dance, LLC. The school will be a true combination of equals – a joining of two extraordinary ballet studios similar in many ways, with strengths that are highly complementary. The acquisition will enable International Dance, LLC. to provide a new and broader set of skills and classes for students. International Dance, LLC's Owner and Artistic Director, Elizabeth Hawkins will continue to oversee and serve as an instructor along side Co-Director Lisa Filipy and instructor Sarah Stewart.

International Dance, LLC. is extremely proud of our instructors and talented students. Parents and students alike can expect the same focus and high quality instruction for which both schools are well known and highly regarded.

We hope you will join us in celebrating this major milestone as it provides a tremendously exciting opportunity for our students to grow and learn new dances and skills for life.
